Identify the parties and the actual service
Check the legal business name, address, signatory, and the entity receiving payment. Ask why any invoice, bank details, or proposed agreement names a different entity. Do not resolve a mismatch by assumption. Keep the proposal and the final contract together.
Replace broad descriptions with a schedule of tasks, coverage, reporting, and creator approvals. “Full management” does not tell you how many channels are managed, who reviews messages, or whether production costs are included. Ask how a scope change is approved and priced.
Define the money in a worked example
The fee clause needs both a percentage and a defined base. It should explain refunds, chargebacks, platform deductions, currency conversion, taxes, ad spending, and sales earned before or after the contract period. Ask whether the fee applies to all revenue, only managed channels, or only specific services.
Use an invented month to test the wording with the agency: receipts, a refund, a campaign expense, and a sale near the termination date. Ask both sides to calculate the invoice independently. If the answers differ, the wording is not ready. See the illustration on our commission page.
Review control and intellectual property separately
| Clause | Question to resolve | Warning sign to investigate |
|---|---|---|
| Account access | Who can log in and remove permissions? | Access you cannot inspect or revoke |
| Recovery and payouts | Who controls recovery details and receives funds? | Changes without explicit approval |
| Content ownership | Who owns existing and new work? | Rights broader than the agreed service needs |
| Content license | What use is permitted, for how long, and where? | Undefined reuse after termination |
| Chatting | Who can approve promises, prices, and boundaries? | No review access or escalation rules |
| Subcontractors | Who else can access data and from where? | An undisclosed chain of access |
A platform’s own conditions still apply to use of the account. Read the current OnlyFans terms and ask your adviser to reconcile any proposed delegation with them. Do not assume that any specific account-sharing tool or permission model is available.
Make the exit clause operational
Write down the earliest end date, the notice length, the accepted notice method, the recipient, and any automatic renewal. Ask whether exclusivity continues after termination and whether fees remain payable on later sales. A phrase such as “cancel anytime” does not explain the final invoice or handover.
The handover schedule should address content files, approved calendars, campaign accounts, analytics records, unresolved fan requests, and deletion or return of personal data. Define who removes access and how completion is confirmed. Include a route for urgent suspension if a boundary or security issue occurs.
OnlyFans agency scams: pause and verify
Requests for recovery codes before a signed agreement, guaranteed income, unexplained urgency, and refusal to identify the contracting business are reasons to stop the process. Preserve messages and independently verify contact information before transferring money or granting access. Do not rely on contact details supplied in a suspicious message to verify that same message.
For general scam-recognition steps, consult the FTC’s guidance on avoiding scams. If money or access is already at risk, contact the relevant platform or payment provider through its official channel and seek advice appropriate to your location. Avoid public accusations you cannot substantiate.
Questions for your independent adviser
Ask about exclusivity, liability, indemnities, content licensing, confidentiality, data protection, governing law, and dispute resolution. Explain where you live, where the agency operates, and how the work and payments will cross borders. These details can matter to the review; a generic internet template cannot decide them for you.
This is general educational information, not legal advice or a ready-to-sign contract. The Bunny Agency’s own [MISSING FACT: final minimum term, notice, access, payout, and handover terms] remain unresolved. Hold our proposal to the same standard.
Review management scope, compare agency selection criteria, or apply to discuss the work you need.
